This battle happened to arrest John Hancock and Samuel Adams and also to incade and destroy the supplies in Concord. The Americans won and it started the Revolutionary War.     On March 17, 1776 the British retreated from Boston. The American leaders are General Henry Knox and Washington. The leader for Britain was William Howe.
