This battle happened to arrest John Hancock and Samuel Adams and also to incade and destroy the supplies in Concord. The Americans won and it started the Revolutionary War. British retreat from Boston
On March 17, 1776 the British retreated from Boston. The American leaders are General Henry Knox and Washington. The leader for Britain was William Howe. The British were gonig to get shelled by the Americans. Then the result was that the British retreated from Boston and we won and it gave us a major port. The picture is of a map of Boston in 1775.
