On March 5, 1770 the Boston Massacre took place on Kings Street in Boston. A sentry was stationed on Kings street, after verbal abuse and objects being thrown at him, 8 soldiers joined him and after more abuse open fired against orders into the crowd. 5 civilians were killed and 6 others were injured.

the Boston tea party happened on december 16, 1773. After Boston officials refused to return 3 shiploads of tea a group of colonists boarded the ship and dumped the tea into the water. They dumped over 300 crates of tea into the ocean as a protest against the boston tea party.
