King George III forbid the colonists from settling west of the Appalacians. It was reserved for the indians.

The Boston Massacre was when the Colonists and some British Troops got into a fight. Five colonists died. The Colonists started the fight.

The Boston Tea Party happened when the sons of liberty dressed up as indians to board a ship and dump all the tea on that ship. The bay was closed after that.

At the Surrender of Yorktown General (Lord) Cornwallis and his army got surrounded by the French and Americans. America won. -
The reason the Treaty of Paris was made because America was at war with Great Britain trying to get independence and was part of Great Britain. Cornwallis surrendered.
