Auston was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, but moved to Arizona at a young age attending Phoenix Coyotes games, he grew up playing hockey and baseball, and apparently as a child he was better at baseball, but dropped it because he prefered hockey. He currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL
