    At 7:02 AM, the Opana Radar Station in Oahu located a lot of planes flying. The commanding officer knew that American planes were coming from California so no one worried.

    Japanese airplanes attacked the naval base of Pearl Harbor at 7:55 in Hawaii. Battleships sank and airplanes were destroyed. More than 2400 Americans died.
  • The Congress decides.

    President Franklin D.Roosevelt asked the Congress to declare war on Japan after the bombarding. There was only one vote against it. All the people agreed to go to war.
  • The President signs the declaration.

    The President signs the declaration.
    The president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Declaration of War on Japan. After less than 25 years, the United States entered to a global war.
  • The war begins.

    The war begins.
    As response of the declaration of war from the USA to Japan, Germany and Italy declared war on the United States, starting the World War 2.
