    In the early hours of April 19, 1775, Britan's General Gage sent out British troops locatated in Boston . Sent out to Lexington, the British soldiers were to capture Colonial leaders Sam Adams and John Hancock, then to Concord to sieze gun powder. "The Brisitish are comming, the British are comming!"

    In May 1775, the Second Continental Congress assembled in Philadelphia. The men conversed about dealing witht the British army, as a result the Continential Army was created. George Washington, Supreme commander, worked for no pay in order for supplies to be obtained.
