    These new weapons the Europeans brought to the New World were swords. Also gunpowder transformed the nature of warfare.

    This was a period of cultural and biological exchanges between the New World and the Old World. They exchanged plants, animals, ideas, and diseases.

    These conquistadors brought disease to the New World. It killed any native population they came in contact with.

    This was the forced voyage of slaves from the Atlantic world to the New World.

    This would benefit the India exchange for protection and teaching them skills. They would end up working more and not get the protection they needed.

    this was a time where the industry looked good on the outside but on the inside it had so many problems. the term gilded refers to saying that the the top layer is gold and nice but the bottom is still rusty.

    battle between the U.S led by Lt.Col. Custer and Indians led by Sitting Bull. Custer's men under his command were slain and about 50 deaths from Sitting Bull.

    This was a terrorist attack made on the world trade center. Thousands dead in mid air or on the earths atmosphere.

    This was a period of general economic decline observed in world markets. Worst economic recession since the Great Depression.
