Christian (Newborn Infant) came into the world; he is crying very loudly as soon as he is born. The crying continues and hoping his mother hears, as soon as he is placed into to his mother arms, the crying stop because he knows he is safe and in his mother's arm. In Eriksons first stage, trust vs mistrust, the crisis between this is Christian the newborn infant trusting his primary caregiver which in this case his mother (Trust), or he doesn't trust her and deny her comfort and love (mistrust). -
Christian (17) is having a college and career day at school. But he is stuck between two pursuing being a firefighter or becoming a doctor. His dad personally wants him to become a doctor. But he wants to become a firefighter. In Eriksons fifth stage, Identity vs Role Confusion. The crisis between him becoming what career he wants to pursue and will love, and be happy with (Identity) or pursue what his dad wants him to pursue and him not do it for himself and be unhappy (Role Confusion) -
Christian (30) and Trin are getting married because they chose to share the rest of their lives together and form their relationship closer. In Eriksons sixth stage, Intimacy vs Isolation. The crisis between becoming closer, and being vulnerable, and emotionally committing to each other (Intimacy) or closing off to each other, lack of communication and being open to each other (Isolation).
