    Friday
Integration and AB Review. Was not present.
I reviewed AB subject matter on my own over spring break. Last day before spring break.

  • Tuesday

    Tuesday
First day back from spring break. Infinite Series review day.
Differentiating between sequence and series, different types of series, how to find convergence and sum.
  • Wednesday

    Wednesday
Taylor Polynomials, Series and their remainders. Taylor polynomials are simple enough, if the series is alternating, the remainder is simple.
However I am unsure of the LaGrange formula, and will need to look it over.
  • Thursday

    Thursday
Practice Questions for the Series and Taylor Polynomials unit. Although I did not get 100% of the questions, I understood how to approach each problem. Things I should personally remember: Being careful of sin2x and its infinite series. Very different from sinx^2. I cannot simply plug in the 2x for x.

    Monday
Absent. Worked on catching up on timeline. In addition reviewed over
well-known MacLaurin/Taylor Series. Class reviewed Advanced Integration Techniques,
which, unlike with Series, I feel completely comfortable with despite not having practiced them for some time.

    Tuesday
Applications of Integrals. We used integrals and manipulations of already known formulas in order to find aspects such as area and volume given an irregular region. Not very difficult, I find the many integration rules and methods to be more of a problem than the application, as formulas can be derived through common sense, identifying the radius, or "the box" with height f(x) and width dx.

    Wednesday
Review of the Polar Unit Make sure I know how to:
    1. Go between polar and rectangular (and even parametric) form.
    2. Derivative and integral of polar form.
    3. Recognizing polar graphs.
    4. Finding area, arclength, surface area, and volume of polar graphs/regions.
  • Thursday

    Thursday
Polar Test. I feel I did very well on all of the questions except for at most 2 of them. Despite the option to omit one question, I still found myself strained for time.
  • Friday

    Friday
AP Review Day. We worked on several AP Practice Problems. While I did fine on the integration/area question, I was still somewhat confused by the series question. At home, I have reviewed on my own for logarithmic growth and decay, equations such as Ae^kt and their uses.
  • Monday

    Monday
Overview of the take home test. Did not benefit me as much because I chose not to do the majority of the take home test. Even still I feel prepared for the AP test.
At home, I reviewed Polar and Parametric equations, and also reviewed over AB subject matter such as the Chain Rule and special systems of equations which are nondifferentiable.

    Tuesday
AP Computer Science A Test Day. Was not in class.
Scanned over AP review book for any final things to look over/remind myself of. Feeling ready for AP test.
