The day marking the beginning of the greatest flood in Anwar's lifetime. Floods, being rare in the wasteland-ish are where Anwar lived, were often a sign of good things to come. However, Anwar and his family nearly drowned in the event.

Anwar helped his family rebuild their house after the flood. He remembers a particularly irritable (to say the least) mother and father, and did not enjoy the experience.

A fun day at the beach (which, in my storyworld, is a huge, very rare treat), where Anwar remembers playing rusfere (A primativ form of soccer) and wading out in the water.

Anwar recieved his first present, from his father, on the Mewen Holiday of Mewthanks. The present, which was a toy dragon, stuck in Anwar's mind as one of his few happy and peaceful connections with his father.

The day after Anwar's present, he asked if he could go out fishing with his father. His father relucatantly agreed, and they ended up sharing another good day with one another. When Anwar thinks fondly of his father (which was rare in his post adolescent life), his mind returns to this moment.

Anwar witnessed his first death in the market square. A riot had broken out, and someone had been hit extremely hard on the head, killing him. Anwar, who witnessed the surprisingly graphic scene, was scare for life.

Anwar remembers arsonists setting a fire on the buildings, and seeing the massive destruction they caused, felt obligated to start doing everything he can to help at the worshipping zone. He was the most frequent (under-age) visitor to the reconstuction of the place.

He started simple, and only painted a rose on a bakery's brick walls.

Anwar meets Daia at the city's docks during a hot summer days. He immediately becomes a secret admirer, and works up the courage to talk to her. They become friends almost immediately. On this day in particular, he presents Daia with a blue rose (which he had payed for, and not stolen).

Anwar has his first "night-out", which involved the doing of illegal substances. None were caught by the authorities. Anwar, however, was confrotned by his mother, who feared for the livlihood of her son, as well as herself (people who got involved had a high chance of getting themselves and their families targetted by gangs and authorities alike). She questioned him, but ended up hurting him in the process. She ceased the attempts to question him and attended to his very minor injury.

During a peaceful mewen rally, Elammic protesters showed up. After a long argument (both sides saying some pretty nasty things), a fight broke out between the two groups, Anwar being involved. The fight calmed down before the police got involved.
