Leonardo, now 14, goes to the center of Florence to find an apprenticeship as an Artisan. His father finds him a mentor, a man named Andrea Del Verrocchio. Andrea Del Verrocchio, immediately impressed by just one drawing, took Leonardo as an apprentice. -
At 21, Leonardo draws the first of his known drawings.

Leonardo joins the guild of St.Luke for Artists and Doctors of Medicine. -
Charged with sodomy, Leonardo is arrested and held at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. He is later found guilty and, as common with homosexuallity in this time, is sentenced to death.
