The Stamp Act of 1765 was an Act of Great Britain that imposed a direct tax on the British Colonies in America that had many printed material to be produced into stamped paper, it served the purpose to help the British troops stationed in the colonies during the Seven Years’ War.

On September 5th, 1774, Carpenters Hall in Philadelphia hosted the first Constitutional Convention. Delegates from all 13 colonies, except Georgia, met to address the colonies' opposition to Parliament's actions. The declaration declared that the colonies would remain loyal to the British but free from the British. They also used this opportunity to create the USA flag.

The Declaration of Independence was a document that served the purpose of separation from the British. This was an issued topic for several years, but it didn't happen until the second Constitutional Congress. Finally, on July 4th, Congress finally voted on using the document and the 13 colonies were free from the British which also led to the formation of the USA.
