    He argued that human nature was mutable and that knowledge was gained through accumulated experience rather than by accessing some sort of outside truth. 3 human rights. No government can take away your rights.

    Seperation of powers to make the government get all sides. The government could never get enough power to one branch. They used this while wirting the constitution and made it so this will not ruin our government.

    He want the people to be able to back out of the governement if it was to bad. Government doesn't have all the power. This was telling people if they don't like don't stick with it. To high of tax you can leave the government.

    He said, "Dare to know! Have courage to use your own reason!" Which he used to say to rebel against eh church and their ideas because most of them were being proven wrong. He was saying that no matter what anyone says your idea is not wrong until proven wrong by reason.
