King George gave an order or Proclamation in 1763 that the people in and going would keep the land for the Native Americans and put solders there to protect that land and some American Colonists did not like that and some moved there anyways. -

Boston Massacure
One colonist were teasing a British solder and so, the solder shoved him and then the colonists got mad and attacked so the British got mad and attacked and 5 colonists were killed and the solders go sent back to England. -

1st Continual Congress
Fifty six delegates meet to decide what to do about England so they created a statement of rights. Some people wanted to break away from Britain and some wanted to make peace with Britain. So, not following either suggestions they made a petition or a statement of rights. -
Lexington & Concord
The British learned that John Hancock and Samuel Adams are having a meeting in Lexington, and minutemen were storing weapons and guns. The British tried to attack Lexington, but Paul Revere and other men told them so, they could escape. The minutemen attacked them so, the British solders marched to Concord. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
One of the first battles to happen in the revolutionary war. The battle actually happened on Breeds hill, but it is still called the battle of Bunker Hill. The colonists had to leave the 3rd time the British came up the hill because they ran out of ammo. -
The 2nd Continual Congress
The 2nd continual congress was meeting in the Pennsylvania State House. All the colonies sent representatives except, Georgia. The people decided to "hope for peace, plan for war". -

The Battle of Yorktown
At the battle of Yorktown the French and patriots surrounded the British and cut of their supply lines. The Patriots won, because the British surrendered.
