The Boston massacre involved citizens in Boston and British soldiers. British soldiers were lined up with muskets to a crowd of around 300 and 400 Boston residents. the group began to taunt them by yelling fire and started to throw all kinds of objects. They were told not to fire but one British soldier got knocked down and said ''damn you fire'' which led the British soldiers to fire at the crowd.
