  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    On March 5, 1770, American Colonists were getting angry and calling the British troops "lobster backs" and threw rocks and snowballs. As result, the soldiers panicked and fired killing 5 American Colonists.   • Boston Tea Party

    Since the tea act was bothering the colonists, the Sons Of liberty, a revolting group disguised as Native Americans went on a British tea ship and threw all the tea into the ocean. The king was very outraged when he heard about the news, then the intorable acts come into place

    Battles of Saratoga

    American troops led by Horatio Gates Blocked British troops from moving any further and kept attacking them with sniping them.Finally the British surrendered making this a HUGE victory. Why this was important to the war is because this was a turning point in the war and Americans are winning most of the battles
  • Guerrilla fighting

    The Americans used a deadly tactic called Guerrilla Fighting. Guerrilla Fighting is when are small groups of people who weaken the armies raids. One time the Americans carried out Guerrilla attacks on the British who were in the Charles town, the Americans used deadly Guerrilla raids and they were vicous.
  • Sea Battle

    Sea Battle
    The Bonhomme Richard was a ship that John Pual Jones was in charge of. On September 23 a British ship called the Serapis attacked the ship. On that particular event, John Pual made the famous quote "I Have Not yet begun to fight. After lots of fighting the Serapis sank and soon after that, the Bonhomme Richard sank.   • Battle of Camden

    Battle of Camden
    General Horatio Gates, the victor of Saratoga was called down to fight for the south. The Americans were in a horrible condition to fight so in August 1780 the Americans ran into British troops causing them to fight. After that, the American retreated and General Gates was fired.
