    The Boston Massacre was a riot on March 5, 1770 in Boston. It began as a street talk between some American colonists and one British soldier, but quickly changed to a loud, bloody riot. This was symettrical because there have been wars that have been brudile before.

    This was in 1773, when 342 chests of tea belonging to the British were thrown from ships into Boston Harbor. The American patriots disguised as Mohawk Indians. This was a-symetrical because the colonists have never dressed up as the Indians before.

    Lexington And Concord

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord was fought on April 19, 1775. This battle kicked off the American Revolutionary War. On the night of April 18, many British troops marched from Boston to Concord for the ability to seize an arms cache.     The Declaration of Independence was a document signed by The U.S congress to declare independence of the colonies. This declared them to be there own nation. They are all working together now as the U.S nation to win battles against Great Britain. This was a-symmetrical because this was the first time the colonies declared independence.

    Battle of Trenton and Princeton.

    In the battle of Trenton, Washington went to Trenton for a surprise attack on a hessian force. Later on, they went to Princeton and defeated the hessians there as well. This helped the colonists gain momentum and troops. This was A symmetrical because it was the first time guerrilla warfare was used.

    This was in the winter of 1777-1778 where George Washingtons troops went to train. His continental army trained for 6 months and this really was a turning point in the revolutionary war. This proved to everyone that George Washingtons army was strong and that they shouldn't be messed with. This was a symmetrical because this was the first time George Washington encamped his army to work in the winter in the Revolutionary War.

  • Battle of Saratoga

    This was two very important battles that occurred in September and October, 1777. These two battles were 18 days apart and the victory was very important. The continental Army had a great win which was a turning point in the war.This battle got the colonies allies. This was symmetrical because it was the first battle after George Washingtons troops were trained and was just a normal battle.
  • Battle of South Charleston.

    Battle of South Charleston.

    This was a great loss of supplies, soldiers, and man power for the Americans. The British took a large amount of troops and went in between Savannah and Charleston. The Americans held off for awhile from the British but on May 12, 1780, Lincoln surrendered. Around 4,600 continental soldiers were given to Clinton. This caused the British to almost have complete control over the Southern Colonies. This was A symmetrical because it was the first time Bejamin Lincoln surrendered and gave up troops.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown

    This was when the colonies sent troops north to do a fake attack on the British to cover up that they actually knew that Corn Wallace was in Yorktown. They then took Yorktown over and held Wallace hostage for months before eh finally surrendered. A symmetrical because this ended the war.
