    Treaty of Paris
    The Treaty of Paris was a document that ended the "Seven Years War". It was signed between the kingdoms of Great Britain, France, and Spain with Portugal. The treaty forced France to give Great Britian control over Canada and all the land east of the Mississippi river. The treaty also gave British all control over Britian American Goverment.

    The Proclamation was issued by King George III to americans.
    The Proclamation stated that americans were forbidden to settle anywhere in Norht America, west of Appalachian Mountains in order to limit conflict with Native Americans.

    The British imposed a direct tax on the colonies of British America. The Stamp Act is the printing of newspapers, legal document,cards, ect, on a paper that had a special stamp on them. When people bought these documents with stamps on them it is the equivalent of paying taxes. It first started in the American Colonies of British America, but quickly spread to other countries. Many people did not agree with this act, so the men started a group called the sons of liberty to rebel against it.

    the Parliament passed the Quartering Act which required the colonies, in american. to house British soldiers in barracks provided by the colonies.
  • Sons Of Liberty.

    Located in Boston, this group was made up of colonist to protect the rights of the colonist. To stand up for the rights of the colonist, the sons of liberty boycotted all british goods. and so came the Daughters of Liberty. These ladies made homespun clothing, and did other things to ensure the sons of liberties health.

    The Boston Massacre was located in Boston, Massachusetts.This event was an incident in which the British Army Soldiers killed 5 innocent men and ijured six others.

    Obviously located in Boston, the Boston Tea Party was a protest led by the Sons of Liberty due to british taxes. Tons of people boarded ships and threw all the tea overboard as a form of protest.,and these actions led to the start of the intolerable acts.

    Intolerable acts were a series of punitive acts passed by the British parliament. The intolerable acts took place in both Britian and the America colonies. The acts closed the port of boston as a punishment for the boston tea party, also as a punishment the colonist had to house british troops.

    The Dec. of ind. was writen by Thomas Jefferson. This document included parts suck as a preamble, list of natural rights, grievances (cause of complaint/real or imagined wrong) against the king, and last but not least a resolution of independence.The Declaration of Independence gave all men and women the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and declared that all people are created equally. Fifty-six delegates eventually signed the Declaration.

    The First Continental Congress was basically a conference of twelve colonies (minus georgia) that met at Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, At this conference the colonies discussed the making of a federal union. Although Georgia wasnt present, the other twelve colonies decided to stand together against the king

    Somewhat of the same thing as the first continental congress, except all 13 colonies was involved in the conference. This conference also took pace in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this conference the colonies decided that they wanted to break away from Great Britian.

    Common Sense is a pamphlet that stated that inspired people in the Thirteen Colonies to declare and fight for independence. The pamphlet was witten by Thomas Paine in 1775-76.
