    This was a law passed by Britain to prevent colonists from taking over natives' land. They passed the law in 1763. Leading up to it, British officers wanted to subdue fighting

    this tax required colonists to give up housing for soldiers to stay. The soldiers could come and go as they pleased. It also required them to provide over 9000 supplies to them. all this while paying for the war.

    This affected trade from the colonies. It made things like glass, spices, and later tea very expensive. The colonists responded by boycotting the goods.

Minute men had moved weapons stored there before they arrived. The shot heard around the world was fired during this sparking war. General Von Stuben trained the continental army and wrote all the drills.
