  • The Death That STarted the French and Indian War

    George Washington who was with the British attacked some French with Indians. It turns out that the French were not looking to fight but the Half King decided to kill most of he french anyway . He did this to start a chain of events so he would get his land back.
  • The Sugar ACt

    On this day the bristish parliment made The Sugar ACt which said that ther was a 6 pence tax on a gallon of asorted liquids. the colinists eveaded this by useing the black market were they did not have to pay any taxes which was a lot better the 6 pence.
  • The Stamp Act

    Britian mostly created this act because they were indept a lot from the seven year war or the French and Indian war, the colinists had to pay tax on every peice of paper the used including daice and playing cards! in time the colinists decided to fight this as well as the Sugar Act
  • Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre "called the incendent on king street took place on mar 5th 1770. Bristh troops fired into a crowd of citizens. This killed 5 people the brisths forces were led by Captain Preston. 8 months later there was a trail on the massucure
  • Boston Tea Party

    on Dec 16 1773 disgised as american indians people through about 1 millon dollars of tea in to the sea. John Adams called it The destruction of tea in boston.
  • The Battle of Lexington

    This was the first military engagmet of the war that was all ready starting.The first shoots were fired at Lexington which is probably why the battle is named afer it although at was fought in 3 other towns. The colinists milita fell back do to they did not have the numbers to fight the British in that fight
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill

    THe colinist herd that the british were sending aroun 1200 troops so they waited atop bunker hill. The british won after 3 atempts on the hill although they lostt over 800 men in the prosses. so in my opion the colinist won it by taking out so many soliders
  • Valley Forge

    There were 12000 men at Valley Forge for that winter most of them 1 in 3 had Shoes. the horses that were brought died of do to starvation. the people there only had a mixture of flour and water to eat. that winter was probably the worst part of the war for the men there.

    The Battle of York Town

    This period of war took about one month to fight 5,500 French soldiers were sent to help with the battle. The French had trapped there escape on water and taken out a fleet so when Washington got there they surronded the BRitish and won
  • After

    AFter the war THe British were still aroud the now United States waiting for a time to attack a take back there land although they may have tryed they never did and then The British left America alone.
