    French and Indian War

    The war was started because the Native Americans wanted to keep there land and cultural beliefs. The war lasted for seven years from 1754 through 1763. George Washington was one of the leaders of the war (on the French side) and fought the battle throughout the upper Ohio river.     The Proclamation of 1763

    The British army wanted the American Colonist not to cross the appellation mountains due to it upsetting the Native Americans risking another war with them. This happens at the appellation mountains at the eastern divide on October 7, 1763. The proclamation was between the Native American leaders and Britain leader King George the third.

    The sugar act was a tax put on the American Colonies for the sugar they bought from non-British Caribbean places. This act was placed by the British Parliament. This act directly targeted the American Colones. This act was put enforce to limit the actions of the colonist but then also benefit Great Britain.

    The quartering act was specifically to the 13 colonies. British troops with this act had the right to just go into peoples houses and the family's would have to tend to them. This involved feeding, cooking, lodging, and many more act towards the solderes from these colonies.

    It is where they place a stamp on paper goods like playing cards and letters. This act really upset the colonist because they were being taxed with out representation. The act was created by the British but only effected the 13 colonies.

    This act was a tact on the thirteen American Colonies placed by King George the third. This taxed a lot of the everyday goods colones used.     Boston Massacre

    This event was more of an effect of all the acts Great Britain had put on the thirteen colonies in order to maintain control. This happened on may 5th 1770. British troops swarmed the import docks of the colonies. Although it is considered a massacre only five people died so you could also look at it in the mindset its just a riot. The leader of the troops was Captain Thomas Preston and this event was caused from miscommunication between him and the troops members.

    The tea act was a tax on the colonist tea. This act also made it so that the colonist had to get there tea from the British. With the increase in tea sales it gave Britain a lot more money. This act over all created a monopoly.

    This event took place in the Boston harbor. Colonist took tea that the British government taxed and dumped it into the harbor. This was the colonist way of rebelling against Great Britain in a viable representation of rebellion. This happened on Over all showing that they were done being taxed without representation.

    This act was made up of a total of four acts. The taxes were put on the colonies by the British government and leaders on June 4th 1774. Over all this act made in very had for the colonies to live their everyday lives. However it was created to keep the colonies in order and a way Great Britain could still maintain power.

    First Continental Congress

    The first continental Congress happened at the Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia. This was a meeting from 12 out of the 13 American Colonies. Big figures of history were there like George Washington and John Adams. In this meeting the colonies decided to boycott British goods taking away some of there power.     Before this petition colonist had a sense of just getting peace with Britain. However with this petition changed there mindset to just win the battle and to not back down. King George the third ended up rejecting this petition due to it not be official and illegal declaring the colonist in a state of rebellion.

    This started when a small British army marched into a small town in the 13 Colonies. However they were met by a small army of just over 70 people. There leader was Captain John Parker. This happened at five am on April 19 1775

    The second meeting of the American congress was all about voting. Congress members voted on George Washington to be the commander in chief. With the victory in Washington belt the members had more assurance in his ability. This happened in Philadelphia.

    This battle was one of the most debatable bloody battle in the American Revolution. This battle was really eye opening for the Colonist and congress now that Britain was in it to fight. Overall pushing them into making sure there malish were well trained and disciplined. The battle was taken in a location in a lot of hills and across the river giving each side a bunch of points to get close to one another.

    Overall in this time frame American Colonist were losing faith in George Washington. Despise all the hard work he had put into an impossible situation it finally paid off restoring his faith. Despite the Christmas holiday on Washington struck the British troops by shock due to the component of them drinking and celebrating the Holiday.

    This was very hard for the American army. With a shortage of food and supplies for the troops members and an increase in diseases and medicine. Overall leading to numbers of the troops going down drastic leading a lot doubt in Washington ability despite all the victory's that he brought the army through.

    This battle victory provided a way that Washington to prove himself to the colonist. This battle was one of the longest battles fought the whole revolution in hot weather. This battle was fought in the middle of summer in New Jersey.

    This was a direct battle that influenced the end of the American Revolution. With the help from the French allies the American Colonies were able to make British troops surrender.     Treaty of Paris

    This treaty was all about the french land on the American Colonist soil. However it ended the French and Indian War. This happened along the Ohio river and through out some of the valleys. One of the benefits of this is that it ended a seven year war.
