A crowd of civilians confronted British sentries guarding the Boston customs house. An argument ensued, which led to the British soldiers shooting at the group of civilians which killed 3 men and injured eight which left two in critical condition. The reason why this event is important is because it sparked the flames of the American Revolution. -
The Boston Tea Party was a protest at the Griffin's Wharf where the American colonists dumped 342 chests full of tea imported from British East India. The reason they did that was because they were angry at the fact that Britain was imposing taxation without representation. This is an important event in history because it speed up the growth of the American Revolution. -

The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first battles of the American Revolution the Massachusetts colonists were fighting a battle outnumbered but they were able to fight them off and this event inspired Americans to fight for their independence. -
The reason for this battle was that the British were trying to keep control over Massachusetts and its seaport. Unfurantly the American patriots were defeated by the British superior army. This loss was unfortunate but this battle showed Americans they were able to hold their own this battle also showed there would be no reconciliation between the two groups. -
The Declaration of Independence was pretty much a summarization of why the 13 colonies wanted independence from Great Britain and the Declaration of Independence allowed the 13 colonies to serve their political connection to Britain. -
This battle was the turning point for the American Revolution with this battle the Americans defeated the British army and boosted the morale of the patriot. The boosted morale of the patriots allowed them to hope for independence and helped them get support from foreign countries which allowed them to win the war. -
The treaty was signed between the American colonies and Great Britain and with that signed, it was an official end to the American Revolution, and the United States was seen as an independent country
