  • Sugar Act

    The sugar act was made to stop any illegal attempts of moving sugar from the French and a way to increase the revenue of the British since their money went way down after the French and Indian war.
  • Currency Act

    This prevented the ability to to print or use paper money for it was seen useless by the British and managed to cause many people poor cause they mainly used paper money.
  • Stamp act

    It required people to pay extra to get a stamp to verify the taxes they were paying so they were paying their taxes with technically more taxes.
  • Quartering Act

    This act allowed British soldiers to enter any home of a colonist if they wanted to and so the people who own the house have to take care of the soldier that enter the house.
  • Boston Massacre

    There was a riot due to the acts that were placed and so the British began to fire upon the colonists killing 5 of them this occurred in Boston of course and people called it a massacre in order to make other people rise up against the British.
  • Boston Tea party

    The colonists began to wear native outfits and charge into a ship carrying tea that the British brought and so they dumped all the tea into the the Boston bay in retaliation from the Boston Massacre.
  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    It was the first battle of the revolution which is the place where the shot heard around the world happened cause it was the first shots to be fired in the first battle of the revolution which the British were there just to destroy some of the supplies of the Patriots.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    It was the battle that was the turning point of the war mainly because the French saw us capable of winning and so they joined us on the battle against the British and it was led by George Washington
  • Battle of Yorktown

    The battle of Yorktown was the final battle of the revolutionary war Which was the battle where George Washington led to defeat General Cornwallis which in the end General Cornwallis surrendered
  • Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris is the ending of the American revolution and is when the Americans got independence from a treaty between United States and Great Britain.
