They had debates only before the war started. Some of them wanted independence while others did not and wanted Reconilitation. -

The war lasted 15 minutes, there was 8 minutemen killed and ten more men were wounded -
Bunker Hill
June 17, 1775 he sent 2,400 British Soldiers up the hill. The colonist held fire until last minute. Then began to mow down the advancing redcoats before finally retreating. -
New york
British believed it was a good idea to try and seize New York City to the rebellions. They sent 32,000 Soldier to stop it -
trenton
Washington led people over to New Jersey to fight. It was a surprise attack during that time period. -
Valley Forge
2,000 soldiers died. After the war in Paris they moved in the Valley Forge if I am not mistaken. -
saratoga
When the American troops surrendered in Saratoga it was the most important event in the war. They signed an alliance and fought together. -
Marquis De Lafayette
This part of the war was about helping each other out. They helped others and foreign military leaders came to help. -
yorktown
The French defeated the British. The war was part of the American troops surrendering the British. -
Treaty of Paris
In September the delegates signed Treaty of Paris. Treaty of Paris its basically confirming the U.S. Independence.
