    George Washington impacted the american revolution so much. He got his fame from the French and Indian war. He will end up being the first president of the United States.

    Benedict Arnold was an american hero. But, he became one of america's most famous traitors.

  • Thomas Jefferson is born

    Also a founding father. He had good relationships with France.

  • Alexander Hamilton is born

    Hamilton, one of the founding fathers was an immigrant from the Caribbean. He had a very great impact in the American Revolution as well.

  • Marquis de Lafayette is born

    Lafayette is one of the greatest french generals that helped the colonists.

    The end of this war is what triggered the american revolution.

    This ended the French and Indian war

    This law is passed so that the 13 colonies can't settle west of the border.

    After the French and Indian war, Britain was in a lot of debt. They decided that to get out of debt, they would tax the colonies. The stamp act was the first of many taxes the British government put on the colonies.

    The sons of liberty wanted to get even with Britain for making the tea act. They decided to throw all of the tea in a British ship overboard.

    The first battle of the Revolutionary War. Paul Revere knew that the British were coming so he sounded the alarm so the patriots could prepare.

    Thomas Paine wrote a pamphlet called Common Sense. It basically convinced america to fight for their freedom.

    The Deceleration of Independence is a document consisting of four parts. It explains why the colonies should be free.

    George Washington wanted to attack the hessian camp (German soldiers fighting for the British.) They sailed across the Delaware River. It was freezing and dark but Washington did it because nobody really fought on Christmas.

    This battle was the turning point for the Patriots. They won and other countries realized that the Colonists actually have a chance. This is when France decided to ally with the Colonists.

    This is the last battle of the Revolutionary war. Britain decides that the Colonists are not worth it and forfeit.
