1754-1763 The first war of the American Revolution. The war was against the British and the French but fought mainly in North America. The was began because the British were attempting to branch out to the west, which is french territory. Ended up with the British winning, resulting in the Treaty of Paris.

A cluster of laws that were passed by British government in 1774. Four of the five acts were directly related to the Boston Tea party, almost punishments for it. The fith act was to extend Quebec. These acts infuriated the colonists and then triggered the First Continental Congress, which then triggered the actually revolution.
