The french and Indian war was so important was because after the British went into a lot of debt and forced lots of Acts on the colonists. The French lost the war so they got kicked out of North America witch made the British government mistreat the colonists. The French and Indian war happens causing the British government to be mean to the colonists forcing the colonists to start a revolution against the British.
