In 1492, an Italian explorer named Columbus sailed the sea to find Asia. He was looking for riches of gold, pearls and spices. He went the wrong way, and found the American Indians instead.

The 13th, 14th, 15th Amendments were un usual laws passed in 1751, the were looked over until the 1800s and were then adopted. 13th: abolished slavery. 14th: All persons born or naturalized in the US are citizens, including African Americans. 15th: US government cannot deny a citizen the right to vote based on their color, race or previous condition of servitude.
