    this amendment was for black men to vote.

  • the completion of the panama canal

    this canal was bulit to make quicker shipments. in 1819 the spanish goverment authorized the contructions. the idea of buliding the canaol was suggested by a german named Alexander von Humboldt.

  • Assassination of Franz Ferdinand

    this started WWI. he was shot down died with his wife the dutches.

  • U.S. entry into WWI

    they entered because the german's shoot at the U.S. submarines and stop them from helping britian. the germans sent a tellagram to mexico and ask them to be allies and attack the U.S. . the message was incepted and that made the persident angry.

    this treaty was signed to end WWI. this treaty upseat German. it even started WWII.

    this amendment was for the woman to have a right to vote. president woodrow wilson was the president who pushed the rights. susan b anthony was one of the main leader's who pushed for this amnedment.

    the polish army was defeated. they brought in 2,000 tanks and 1,000 planes to take over. poland surrender to the germans.

    Japan bombed peral harbor because they thought America was going to go into WWII. U.S was actually just building an army. a lot of battle ships sank that day.

    order was issued because the president thought that japan was sending in spy's to take info from the government. So, even american japaense where sent to the camps. they were more like concentration camps but not as bad as germany's

    U.S. wanted them to surrender for the first bombing but they didn't so, they sent a second bomb.

    the first military was sent into south vietnam to help them against north vietnam. kennedy was the persident and he is the one who sent them in. this was the first involvement with vietnam war.

    the March was for civil rights demonstrations. It sparked outrage all over the media.This was the march Martin Luther King gave his "I Got a Dream" speech.

    JFK was shot in the head. riding in the backseat. his face blow face. its was supposedly a cover-up

    Lyndon B. Johnson was the president at the time. it made the U.S join warfare with south vietnam. Lydon B. Johnson said "the battle against communism... must be joined... with strength and determination."

    he was assassinated on a balcony at the Lorraine hotel. James earl ray shot king. it was a big deal because king was the civil rights leader

    The U.S pulled out in 1973. two years later notrh vietnam took of the south. the war lasted for 20 years

    this act happened on january 15, 1991. this act was for saddam to get out of kuwait. this helped president bush sr. by allowing him attack saddam.

    the bombed them so Iraq couldn't take Kuwait over. they gave Iraq time to get out but they chice to stay. this was called Operation Desert Storm. when they went in it did look like a storm.

    U.S went in and was able to push iraq out of kuwait. some people wanted preisdent bush to over throw saddam. U.S won this war so easy within over a year.
