    In 1925, a trial which took place in Dayton, Tennessee, which was about a teacher by the name of John T. Scopes, who was put on trial for teaching about evolution. It was later found out that it was entirely staged in order to gain publicity to that town.

    On August of 1929, Americas Stock market was about to hit its peak, and on October of that same year, it crashed. It was worldwide economic depression that affected everybody. Small businesses would be shut down while massive companies would have to lay off their employees. People would stand outside food stands for a whole day just to get one meals worth. It would take 10 years for America to fully recover before it could go back to normal, even though it ended in 1933.

    On march 4, 1933, Franklin Roosevelt would be elected as 32th president of the United States. He would be best known for helping America get back on its legs after the Great Depression, by helping introduce the New Deal.

    Between 1933 and 1939, to help American citizens after the Great Depression, Roosevelt, with the help of congress, passed a law called the New Deal. It was a series of programs, public work projects, financial reforms, and regulations that would help American citizens to start working again and slowly rebuild America. The New Deal would be described as "giving hope back to people."

    WW2 begin with Germany invading Poland, led by Adolf Hitler. Great Britain and France would respond by declaring war with them on September 3, 1939, 2 days after Germanys invasion of Poland. WW2 would go down as the most bloodiest war and the one with the most causalities from all sides. It would last a total of 6 years, ending on September 3, 1945.

    On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor, a U.S. military base, is bombed by Japanese's forces. The sudden attack would push America to join the fight against Germany and its allies. Pearl Harbor was bombed for a total of one hour and 15 mins. Later, the Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who planned the attack of Pearl Harbor, would later write in is dairy saying "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve"
