Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights was a document created in 1689, that was signed by King William and Queen Mary. It was a list of freedoms that the goverment promised to protect.It had granted things like trial by jury. -
Pontiacs War
When the war was finished between French and Indians, the Ottawa nation, Pontiac formed an alliance with western native americans. In 1763 Pontiac and the West Indians attacked British forts. Nearly 1/2 a dozen forts were destroyed at that time, and by 1764 the war was over. -

Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party happened after the tea act. It was when the Sons of Liberty scheduled the port cities to stop the east india company tea from being unloaded. Native Americans boarded the ships and dumped 342 cases of tea into the harbor. It started because there was tax on tea. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill consisted of the British army and the Americans. There were three battles, the first two the british did not succed. The third battle was succesful for the british, because the american army ran out of ammunition first so they had to retreat. -
Invading Canada
An arny of americans led by Richard Montgomery, attacked Quebec during a servere snowstorm. The americans withdrew due to hunger and disease, so they left Canada to the british. -
Common Sense
In January 1776 a pamphlet was published in philidelphia. It was stimulated broad support for independence. The author of this pamphlet was Thomas Paine, and he insulted people like King George III. Thomas Paine inspired people in other colonies due to his logic and powerful words. -
Attack and Retreat
Sir William Howe, a British Commander gathered his forces on Staten Island to attack. Washington already new of the attack ahead of time so he was prepared. What washington did not know was the number of people that the british had. that day the people with washington had retreated. -
Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence was a document created on July 4th,1776. This document stated how the colonist were breaking away from the British. They did respect the opinions of the colonists. Therer were fifty-six people that signed the Declaration of Independence starting with John Hancock. -
Crossing the Delaware
In the year of 1776 on december 25th, 2.400 men traveled across the deleware river. They didnt have many supplies,having to suffer through the freezing cold. They were led by George Washsington. On the 26th they went and attacked trenton. -
Valley Forge
In between the years of 1777-1778, in a camp called valley forge George Washington and his men were suffering. The women began to gather things like food, clothes, and ammunition for the men that were suffering and decided to deliver those goods to the men of Valley Forge. -

In the years of 1779-1781 people from america recieved help from spain. The governor of lousiana, whos name is Bernardo de Galvez began helping the americans in 1779. The americans seeked help from an island in cuba, run by woman. There name was ''Havanas Ladies''. They were genorous and sent 7 million dollars to them to help them. -
Treaty of Paris
On April 15, 1783 a treaty was passed. This treaty stated that the war would end and that it was 8 years before that when there was a shot heard around the world was had. -

There are long term affects that are still today from the imapct of the revolution. The declaration of independence inspired movements later in latin america. -
Atlantic Slave Trade
This was an event that 10 million enslaved africans were sent to the americasin the 1500's.They would travel 300 miles locked in chains in boats. Most of the slaves apart of this trade died on the bost because of the sicknesses going around and much more.
