On December 22, 1984, Goetz, an actor, ends up shooting four black teens after they allegedly tried to rob him in a subway of New York. Some stated that they simply asked for 5 dollars from him. He gave himself up to the police nine days later and was charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and several firearms offenses. -

The group that attacked was an Islamic group. These events would change America for the better by having anti-terrorist laws enforced
