Also includes Slipping Away, a story of a twelve year old girl contemplating what it means to bwe a lesbian. Yes, all of the short stories deal with being Gay or Lesbian, but that was too long to put in the title.

Am I Blue, the title story (this is a collection of short stories), is about a questioning teenage boy getting Gaydar, or the ability to spot gay people. Everybody who has had at least one gay experience or sex dream or what ever gets turned a shade of blue (the intensity of the shade gives the spectrum we've all heard about.) The character asks himself, "Am I Blue?", a question that is essential and difficult.
