    The revolutionary war was fought from 1775 to 1783. It was also known as the American war of independence. The revolutionary war began with the confrontation between British troops and local militia at Lexington and concord, Massachusetts, on 19 April 1775. Throughout the war, state troops and local militias supplemented the Continental (federal) army.

    The declaration of independence is one of the most important documents in the history of the United States. It was an act taken by all 13 American colonies in declaring independence from British rule.
  • The Civil War

    The Civil War
    The Civil War started because of uncompromising differences between the free and slave states over the power of the national government to prohibit slavery in the territories that had not yet become states.
  • The Attack On Pearl Harbor

    The Attack On Pearl Harbor
    President Franklin Roosevelt called December 7, 1941, "a date which will live in infamy." On that day, Japanese planes attacked the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Territory. The bombing killed more than 2,300 Americans. It completely destroyed the American battleship U.S.S. Arizona and capsized the U.S.S. Oklahoma. The attack sank or beached a total of twelve ships and damaged nine others. 160 aircraft were destroyed and 150 others damaged.

    9/11
    9/11 was a terrible day in history. So many people died from the plane crash and from the twin towers collapsing. Hopefully it'll be remembered forever in our hearts. This event really impacted everyone who's family members worked in the twin towers, or were a firefighter there, or that survived the impact, it was a horrible day for everyone.

    My birthday is on October 1st. I love celebrating my birthday and seeing all my family and friends every year. This event is important because it is the day that I celebrate my birth!
