Alexander Graham Bell
Alexander born in March 3 1847, in Edinburgh in Scotland.
When Alexander was 29 years old he decided to invent the phone. -
First Phone
The first phone invented in 1877. It was a machine with wire which can stretch about three miles.
The first phone worked by converting sound into an electrical signal via a 'liquid transmittert his created a varying strength electric signal that travelled down a wire to a receiver, where through a reversed process, the sounds were re created.
The first words spoken via telephone were from Bell to his assistant Watson, saying "Mr. Watson--come here--I want to see you." -
Rotary Dial
in the phone Rotary Dial to dial a number, the user puts a finger in the corresponding finger hole and rotates the dial clockwise until it reaches the finger stop. The user then pulls out the finger, and a spring in the dial returns it to the resting position -
Candlestick phone
The Candlestick phone invented around 1890s until 1920s. The inventor was Almon Stowger, in the candlestick phones were in two parts with the mouthpiece at the top of the part reminiscent of a structure remniscent of a candlestick. The earpiece rested on a cradle when the phone was not in use and lifted to the ear when it was in use -
Cordless Telephone
The inventor of the cordless telephone was George Harry Sweigert which invented this in 1956.
The cordless telephone receives the radio signal from the base, converts it to an electrical signal and sends that signal to the speaker, where it is converted into the sound you hear. When you talk, the handset broadcasts your voice through a second FM radio signal back to the base -
Touchtone
The touchtone phone John Karlin invented in 1963.
When you dial a phone number on a touch tone telephone, the telephone generates a dual tone multifrequency . wich mean, the sound that you hear is the sum of 2 sinusoidal signals at different frequencies and therefore the name. -
Cellular phone
The cellular phone invented by Martin Cooper in 1973.
In the cellular phone you need to press the numbers on the phone to the preson you want to call and you will hear him in the speaker. -
First smartphone
The first smartphone invented the Society IBM and call the phone "Simon".
The world's first smartphone, The smartphone featured a touchscreen measuring 4.5 inches by 1.4 inches, and it came with a stylus. Aside from its calling capabilities, you could also use the phone to send and receive emails, faxes, and pages. -

The first iPhone invented Steven Paul Jobs in 2007,The iPhone allowed for your phone to be an iPod, a telephone, and was able to have games. -
Android
The first android phone invented by Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Chris White at 2008. It was the first phone to use Google's Android system.
