This is the first attempt on the world trade center. Ramzi Yousef used a truck bomb that was intended to break the foundation of the first tower of the World trade Center in New York City and hopefully knock down the second one, leaving the entire complex destroyed. He hoped that 250,000 people would be killed in the bombing. However, the foundation of the towers was strong and the towers did not collapse. But did manage to kill six people in the process.
