    During this period of time, strategies from the industrial revolution were used, for example selective breeding, and new inventions being made, for example the "Spinning Jenny" and the Cotton Gin. At this point in time, "animal power" was the main source for all the technology used in agriculture but that soon changed.

    The 20th century was the biggest boom in agriculture of all time with the new invention of mechanization. This meant instead of using "animal power", farmers would use machines to the hard work for them. They would also pick out specific animal genetics for the season and what would help them out.

    21st Century

    Ever since the new machines that were made in the 20th century, not a lot has changed for now. In this time period, a lot of different things are being done without a human powering it, for example how Tesla has self driving cars. In agriculture, self-driving tractors are being made so that they plow the fields themselves without a human operating them. Not a lot of new machines have been made since machinery, but farmers have improved their farming with new techniques, for example using GPS.
