in the last chapter he finally goes to prison after all the sneaking around he does. He only goes to prison for 2 years because of his probation. His first application for probation got denied but the second time got acepted and thats how he got out so early. He was supposed to be in there for 30 yrs. When he gets out he explains his time in prison and the new people he met, he met quit a few of German spies and they all share stories while he is prison.
