    It classified people in South Africa as white, black (African), or colored (of mixed decent). BLack were required to carry books with their fingerprints and info in it in order to eave and enter areas.
  • The surpression of Communism Act

    Passes by the National Party it was enforced to stop all mass movements.
  • The Bantu Authorities Act was enforced

    Blacks had to move to "homelands" where they still had limited rights.
  • Difiance of Unjust Laws

    The ANC's Campian against unjust laws.

    It increased penatly if people disobeyed the law.

    Nelson Mandela and 159 people were tried for trason and found not guilty.
