Daoud Khan declared that he was the president in the bloodless coup aginst the king, Zahir Shah. -

The PDPA killed Daoud Khan and his familey and made the Nur Muhammad Taraki the new President of Afghanistan. -
Soviet War
The Soviet War in Afghanistan starts.... Fearing the collapse of the Amin regime, the Soviet army invaded....The long war resulted in millions of Afghans leaving their country, mostly to Pakistan and Iron. Thousands of Afghan civilians were killed in addition to the rebels in this war. -

A mouth later after the Soviet War, Afghnistan falls into another war... the Civil War....after the Soviet Union left, they where leaving the Afghan communist government to fend for itself against the Mujahideen and thats when Taliban attempting to bring down the new government and it witch i did fall. -
Ending of the Civil War
With the agrements in the Peshawar Accord sghined the the war ended
