The US provided the mujahideen with anywhere between 20 million and 630 million dollars. The US also provided the Mujahideen with weapons as well.

In the end the mujahideen group known as the Taliban became the official leaders of the Afghanistan government.

Two planes were flown into the world trade center in New York, one was flown into the Pentagon, and a fourth one crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers revolted.
