  • The Discovery of Adaven

    The Discovery of Adaven
    Prince Henry was on an exploration and spotted land on the Southern tip of Malaysia. He decided to settle down on the island. He was soon captured by Natives, and brought to their villlage. Planning to kill him, he tried work out an alliance, and soon they ruled the island together. Soon after the Native leader died, Prince Henry decided to name the island Adaven after him.
  • Trading Port Established

    Trading Port Established
    The British turn the island into a major trading port, educating the Natives, and pulling in immigrants from India and China. Boat loads of immigrants landed in Adaven, seeking a better future with the colony.
  • The 1944 Drought

    The 1944 Drought
    The 1944 drought was when Adaven's crops failed, famine, and high food prices occured. This drought affected most of Adaven leaving a lot of families jobless and hungry. Luckly we had bread and other products that were able to last for a longer period. Even if peopel had food to sell, nobody could afford buying anything. The 1944 drought lasted for about a year, which left a lot of people hungry and homeless. But later the great oil strike saved Adaven from all straving.
  • The Great Oil Strike

    The Great Oil Strike
    A group of miners were digging in Louietown. One miner hit hard on the ground making a large tunnel, they all kept on digging and digging. When they then struck oil, this oil was the thing that help the Nation survive. Many other farmers and miners struck oil in Adaven, making this island wealthy. The great oil strike helped Adaven out of the 1920 drought.
  • Inventing the Sewing Machine

    Inventing the Sewing Machine
    Sarah and Nigel Singer were trying to create a machine that would make it easier than hand sewing. So they created a machine that would help businesses and companies produce more products faster. They called it the sewing machine. This mechanism helped Adaven with money, more publicity, and more people trying to get employed.
  • The 1976 Earthquake

    The 1976 Earthquake
    This earthquake was the worst natural disaster Adaven has ever had. There was a magnitude of almost 6.7, and having over $500,000 in damage. Over a hundred were killed, and many had injuries. Many of these people were hidign in their cars, under there table, or in their bathtub. Luckly this earthquake lasted for a minute, and most of the people were safe.
  • The Taheman Revolution

    The Taheman Revolution
    The Taheman Revolution struck out because Adaven wanted independence from the British. So from a little fued, to a brutal war, hundreds of men fought for their freedom. Leaving their homes, families, and precious belongings behind, these brave men and women fought for what was right and the freedom they needed.
  • Independence of Adaven

    Independence of Adaven
    After three years of war, Adaven got independence. Alexander Fair was the chosen leader by it's people. He had lead the country under the current ruling, People's United Party.
  • Present Time

    Present Time
    Today Adaven continued to mantain is't importance as a major tradign a shipping port in this region.
