    By 1710, most of acadia was firmly under british control. acadians had developed a unique identity becuase they had been cut off from the rest of new france for so long. britain changed the colonys name to nova scotia. it allowed the acadians to live in peace. it seemed the acadians troubles were over.

    Govenior Lawrence saw that the Acadians has betrayed him so he shipped them away. Most of the Acadians were deported by ship to New Zealand and somemwere send to France or the Carribean, Many Acadian didn't even survived the deportation.

    Wolfe and Montcalm faced different challenges, Wolfe was on the attack he and his troops faced a well defended fortress, therefore wolfe could not cut off supplies, Montcalm on the other hand was on the defence he and his french foreces faced a huge fleet of british, he believed they were safe inside the stoned fortress.
