Manuel, John S. "Solar Flair." Environmental Health Perspectives 111.2 (2003): A104-107. Web. 29 Sept. 2016. The only way to use solar energy efficiently, is to carefully plan out the PV designs. To receive the best results of using solar power, you must consider all social, economical, and geological factors of a specific region. Manuel's ideas are very similar to several articles that will be mentioned later.

Ellison, Katherine. "Solar Power: The Future Looks Bright." Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment 4.8 (2006): 448. Web. 29 Sept. 2016. Ellison explained why solar energy was not a realistic option for the U.S. in 2006. She believed that the switch to solar power would be too expensive and the solar panels would take up too much space. Also, she thought they would be unreliable. Finally, she felt that it would negatively affect our economy.

Academic Search Premier. Web. 18 Sept. 2016. This article discussed how beneficial sustainable energy is for our planet and everything on it. It expressed how we could make solar power and other types of renewable energy work by consider all the factors of the region.

Kittner, Noah, Shabbir H. Gheewala, and Daniel M. Kammen. "Energy Return On Investment (EROI) Of Mini-Hydro And Solar PV Systems Designed For A Mini-Grid." Renewable Energy: An International Journal 99.(2016): 410-419. Academic Search Premier. Web. 18 Sept. 2016. This article showed how solar power is better than other modern day used forms of energy. Conventional energy is more harmful to society and the environment. Its more expensive over time to continue using these conventional methods.

McDonnell, Tim. “Sunlight For Sale.” Sierra 101.1 (2016): 40-42. Academic Search Premier. Web. 18 Sept. 2016. McDonnell also talked about how successful solar energy could be to the U.S. He showed example of U.S. citizens make solar power work to provide energy for their daily lives. He also dicussed what President Obama was doing to make solar energy an option for the U.S.

Web. 18 Sept. 2016. Similarly, to other articles, Lee points out that not all places can use solar power in the same way. He showed a specific example of how it works in Connecticut and how that specific way could work in places that have similar factors to Connecticut.
