    Some soldiers would be assigned to walk around the town to guard, look for intoxicated men, and for soldiers out of uniform. A.A Harrison gets paid $18 every month for his service doing this.

    First fight near Corinth about 100 miles from Nashville Tennesse. A.A lost 15 to 20 thousand men, the south lost about 40 thousand men.

    At the camp two docters and the Colonel were arrested because they were drinking on the job. A.A couldnt get the medication he needed to try to keep healty and keep fighting.
