After leaving one of their stops in Alabama the bus was firebombed and the passengers of the other bus were attacked by a white mob after they arrived in Alabama.

    Alabama National Guard troops and Governor George Wallace ends his blockade of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and allows two African American students to enroll. The two African American students attempted to desegregate the University of Alabama in June 1963. The governor literally blocked the door of the enrollment office.

    The Baptist Church was located in Birmingham, Alabama. The church was bombed as an act of terrorism by white supremacist of the KKK. In this bombing, 4 young African American girls were killed.

    JKF was killed in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. He was riding in a motorcade while being accompanied by his wife Jacqueline Kennedy. While they were passing the buildings, Harry Lee Oswald fired six shots, 3 piercing the presidents body. JFK was pronounced dead 30 minutes after the shooting.
