The good days
Before David's life become a living hell there was a short period of time where his family was considered "the brady bunch" of the 1960's. They had the perefct family. The parents both had jobs, food on the table and a kind and caring feeling that came from their home. They even got to go on family trips to explore new things! -
Life's about to change
David's relationship with his mother drastically changed from discipline to punishment that fastly grew out of contral. -
Mother has changed
David started off by getting sent to his bedroom or put into a corner and after a short amount of time his mom's behavoiur began to change radically and alone with that so did the punshiments -
The lies begin
David's mother has began to beat him so bad that it was starting to leave cuts bumps and brusies and when it was brought up it was always a diifernt story about what dume things david was doing or how he wasnt being carefully and litle did people know that was not the case at all. -
The Dreadful Stove
David's mother was not happy with David and infoms him that he has made her life a living hell and that she will now be doing the same thing to him. David's mother told him to take off his shirt while she turned on the gas stove. She then insisted that he put his arm in the flames untill she gives him permission to take it out. After making him leave his arm in for so long that it was burnt right to the bone she gives him the ok to take it out. -
Stealing is the only way for food
David has gone a few days without food and is very hungry so he decides that he was going to steal food from the school caf in hopes his mother wouldn't fined out. By the time he gets home from school his mom had already gotten a call saying he had taken food and so when he got home she made him voimit up everthing that was inside him all beaucse he was not to be eating. -
Drinking Ammonia
When David does not complete his chores on time he always finds himself facing some kind of punisment and when she was unable to meet his mothers time frame he finds himself having to drink ammonia from a spoon. He trys to stall his mother hoping that the longer it tock the more she would spill from the spoon but eventally he had to drink it and the wait well it slowy burns his throat. -
Bleach is not so bad
David has yet again not met his mothers expectations and finds himself drinking bleach. David discribes that this was an easy punishment compared to the amoina and stove cases that have happened in the past and says that he has been let off easy. -
kill you with a knife
David's mother tells him that she is not happy with him beacuse he never meets any of her time limits and that this time she had enough and if he was not done by 5 she was going to kill him with a knife and wouldnt feeling sorry one bit. -
Stabbed by his mother
His mother is going crazy and has started waving a knife at David. Out of the coner of his eye he can see a small blurred object coming fast toward him when it hits him in the chest. David explained that he was in alot of plain but knew he had to keep fighting or it would all be over. -
It never really happened
After David's mother stabs him his father acts like nothing happened and his brothers start chanting "David's going to die, the boy is going to die". Althought he was aware of what was happening he just doesn't say anything at all. -
He underrstands
David tells himself that it's not his mothers fault she does this to him and that she needs help. He also tells his mother that it was ok and he understands beacuse he was a bad boy. -
Fighting the Pain
One day after he was stabbed David is in alot of pain but knew he could not say it or show any kind of feeling that he was or else he would be giving his mother the satifation of winning. -
No father no food
David's father is gone on a work trip so he knows that his mom is going to be extra hard on him and his chances of food were very slim. David's mother starves David for 10 days with no food. -
Is it really all over ?
David's mother tells him that its all over and that it's going to be ok. No more beatings and he can finally be apart of the family meaning he could go places and eat dinner with them again. But what david was unaware of is that it's all a lie because social services was coming. -
Its was all a lie
It really wasnt over at all the only reason his mother told him that is because child serivice was coming so she was playing an acted so they would not think anything was going on. -
Mother goes into labour
David's mother goes into labour with his brother Kevin and while she is at the hopsital David's Dad takes care of him and he feels like evrything is normally again -
Mother is back
David's mother is coming back from the hospital with his new bother Keivn and the beatings begin again. -
Eat the poop
David's mother makes him eat poop from his bothers dirty diaper and doesn't allow him to spit it out becuase he didn't clean the dinner mess up on time. -
You're now an "it"
David is stripped of his existance and his mother no longer calls him by name but instead an "it" -
The school bully
Even when he leaves his house to get away from his mother he goes to school where he gets beaten by the school bully Clifford. -
Mother isolates herself
David's mother bein directing her frustrations in more directions. She alienates her friends, husband, brother and even her own mother. -
My hero leaves
David's mother and father got into a fight and his father ended up leaving. When David saw his father packing up his bag he started to cry and wished he could go alone with. When he left his mother began to drink glass after glass of alcohol and then started to beat David up. -
You are all mine now
After Davivd's father left his mother glanced at him telling him that "You are all mine now" and it's to bad you don't have your little hero here to save you. When this was said to David he was convicded that he was going to die and his fight would be coming to an end. -
David has been removed from his house
David has been abused by his mother for many years and finally after being beaten untill he feels like there is no hope let in the world, he got quesrion by the school nurse about where the bruise cuts and scars have came from. After they fined out what has been going on they get the cops involed and then they remove david from the terrible life he has been living.
