    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre was when colonists weren't happy about the British making the Townshend Acts. So the colonists started a riot and British guards killed five colonists.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The colonists found out that ships were coming into their ports from the British East Inida Company they protested. Then at night some bostonians desguised themselves as Mohawk Indians and went on to British ships and dumped the tea into the Boston Harbor.
  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    Battle of Lexington and Concord
    The Battle of Lexington and Concord wasn't much of a battle. The British heard of an illegal stash of weapons in Concord. Paul Revere and William Dawes warned everyone that the British were coming. So they hid the weapons and then when the British were leaving they shot at the British.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
    Militia put a fort on top of Bunker and Breeds hill. The British sent 2,500 troops to attack it. The British tried attacking twice but failed. Then the Third time when the militia was low on gunpodwer and ammo the British Finally defeated the militia. The Militia tachnically won because the British lost so many people in battle.
  • Battle of New York

    General Howe attacked Washingtons 250 American troops thruogh the Bedford Pass, and surrounded them on three sides. The continental congress told Washington to move out of New York, and then he moved his supplies and injured soldiers to Manhattan.

    A lot of the founding fathers sugned the declaration of independence that said that men were created equal. There previleges are Life, Liberty, and the Persuit of Happiness

    The Battle of Trenton was fought on Christmas day so that the British wouldn't be expecting it, and so that the Americans would have more confidence that they could win the war.

    5,700 British soldiers surrendered when General John Burgoyne was surrounded by American Malitias. They captured an entire British army and captured the northern American states.
  • Valley Forge

    Valley Forge
    Valley Forge was a very intense winter that caused 2000 deaths. These deaths were caused by starvation and freezing. Then Friedrich Von Stueben trained and the troops and made them into an army by spring.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
    George Washington trapped Charles Cornwallis from three different directions. Cornwallis was outnumbered 2 to 1. The French helped the Patriots keep the British from retreating by ocean.
  • Treaty of Paris

    Treaty of Paris
    The Treaty of Paris is signed and ends the Revolutionary war between America and Britain. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay signed the treaty in Paris.
