Eric Harris was a fan of the 90s video game,Doom.In fact,since he was such a big fan, it caused him to go to his high school and left 15 innocent lives, dead.The police were able to grab a hold of Harris' journal, and it ahowed that he killed those people in the high school because of his "Doom" obsession. He was laimed to have asked the students questions about the video game, testing their knowledge of the game. If the person did not know the answer or did not say anything,then they die. -
Twins Drown While Father Games
A father in Ohio has been charged with 10 years in prison after leaving his twin sons in the bathtub for more than 30 minutes, causing them to drown. Hre was sent to prison for 10 years for the invoulintary manslaughter of his 2 late sons. His wife has them filed for divorce and obtained a protection order from her ex-husband. The man claims that he visits his twin son's grave stone everyday. -
Obsessed EverQuest Fan Found Guilty of Manslaughter
Tony Bragg was playing EverQuest, when his son started to cry. As Bragg became more and more aggitated, he eventually got out of his chair to pick up his son and put his son in the utility closet in a 4 by 8 foot play pen for more than 24 hours. One Bragg open the closet door, and found his son dead, he called 911. Bragg was charged with aggravated manslaughter and sentenced to 15 years in prison. -
Life Sentence for Gamer
In China, a man with the name of Qiu Chengwei 41, stabbed competitor Zhu Caoyuan 26, in te chest after he was told that Zhu sold a virtual sword for 7,200 yuan ($870) the newspaper said. Qiu was sentenced to death, with a two-year reprieve which means a lifetime behind bars. However, if Qiu behaves, he will only have to serve 15 years in prison. -
Vietnamese Boy Murders Woman to Play Video Games
Police in Vietnam have arrested a 13-year-old boy accused of murdering and robbing an 81-year-old woman so that he can pay for online games. The boy is to young to go to jail, so the police have decided to send him to a reeducation camp, where, if he shows good behavior, will be released. -
Teen Charged in "Mortal Kombat" Death
Lamar Roberts was charged with child abuse resulting in death. Prosecutors say he hit, kicked, and ultimately killed Zoe Garcia. The teenager was imitating Mortal Combat with Zoe's half sister, Heather Trujilllo. She recieved an 18 year suspended prison, and will also in a youth offender program. Roberts will be going into court sometime around October. -
Parents of Baby Left Alone In Car Seat for 8 days
Peoria County State's Attorney Kevin Lyons said that the 5-month-old child was dropped off at his parents house,strapped into his car seat, and stayed in the same position for the next 8 days. His parents now face murder charges due to his death. While the baby was in the car, the parents were playing video games, watching tv, and caring for themselves. The couple could recieve up to a lifetime in prison. -
Newborn Killed for Interrupting Video Game
A man accused of killing a newborn baby because the child was interrupting his video game has pleaded guilty of manslaughter. He was sentenced 10.5 to 21 years in prison on September 30. Authorities said that the baby was sleeping, when suddenly it started crying. Out of frustration, the man paused the game, walked into the room the baby was in, shook the baby and hit him in the head. He left the baby comatose in the bed and spent the next five to ten minutes finishing his game. -

An 18-year-old was arrested after an attempt to kill his father by choking him with a gamepad cable. It all began when the teenage boy would not turn off the game system after his father had argued with his son the turn off the console. When the boy did not respond, the father unpluged the game console, and that is when the boy attempted to strangle his father over anger. -

The child was abused when she would not say "please" or "yes sir" to her step-father, whenever she wanted something. The father was then aggitated with her and yanked her by her hair and threw her across the room, hitting her head on the tiled floor, causing her to fracture her head in 3 different areas, leading to her death. The father then placed her remins in a container, and dumped her in the Gavelston Bay. A month later, a fisherman found the childs remains and reported it to the police. -

A Korean couple let their 3-month-old daughter die from starvation after the two spent a 12 hour session in a net cafe. Once they realized that their child was dead, they called the police. While in the net cafe, the couple were taking care of a virtual child on an online game. The mother will not go to jail if she stays out of trouble for 3 years. Father Killed Newborn Daughter First Time Alone w/ Eachother
Christopher Sellman was sentenced five years in jail after the death of his 25-day-old daughter. Apparently, he was playing a computer game, when his daughter started to cry, the father got aggitated, paused his game, went into the child's room and slammed her onto the the padded changing mat. The baby suffered heart failure and bleeding from the brain.
