    Jeroboam was scared that people would turn to the other kingdom. He decided that the best option would be to create two golden calves "to the Lord." So he put one in the North and one in the South so people could go and worship them and had no excuse to why they couldn't.

Insead, he went to the younger men he grew up with, and they said to tell the people he will be harsher than his father. So, he tells the people he will be harsher and instead of whipping them with whips, he will whip them with scorpians. He regined for 17 years.

    Jeroboam was the king of the other 10 tribes. Jeroboam was probably a better king compared to Rehoboam. Jeroboam was there when the people asked Rehoboam to lighten up the work load, compared to Solomon. He reigned over Isreal for 22 years.

    Israel is not happy with what Rehoboam said about being harsh, so the kingdom splits up. Rehoboam took Judah and the makority of the tribe of Benjamin. Jeroboam go the other ten tribes.

Asa made a hude sacrifice to the one and only true God. Asa removed his grandmother from having power and destroyed her idols. He did not tear down all the high places, but served the Lord all his life.

    Bribes Ben-hadad, king of Syria, to break the covenant they had with Baasha, king of Idrael. While Ben-hadad and Baasha are having war, Asa moves a the border of Baasha to Judah. Because of this, God said he would have war all the rest of his reign. He gets sick and doesnt go to God, so he dies.

    The brook he was sitting at dries up, so God tells him to go to a widow in the village of Zarephath. Elijah goes to the widow and asks her to go and get him water. He also asks her to give him bread, but she says she has very little flour and oil, and she wanted to make one more meal before her and her son die. Then the famous story of the never ending flour and oil happens.

The prophetes of Baal ask Baal all day to burn up the altar, but it never happens. But Elijah prays to God 7 times, and the altar of God is burned up with everything around it.

    Jezebel threatens Elijah with death. He escapes and flees to the desert, and asks God to kill him. He then falls asleep, and an angel comes and bakes him cake and gives him water. Because of the two meals he ate, he didnt eat or drink for 40 days and 40 night, and he just walked the whole time. Then he came to a cave and lives in it. God talks to him and tells him to go and anoint three guys. One of these is Elisha, the prophet that will take Elijah's place. Elisha is now Elijah's assistant.

    Jehosaphat was the king of Judah. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, because he followed in the ways of his fathe, Asa. Asa was a great influence on him and would have been a great rule model. He reigned for 25 years.

    Reigned over Israel for 22 years. Son of Omri, and did more evil than his father. Marries Jezebel, the profetist of Baal. Dies by comitting suicide by burning the palace down on top of himself.

    Ben-hadad is outside Ahab's city. He sends to Ahab and says "Give me your wives and your gold and silver and kids." Ahab agrees. When Ben-hadad hears this, he asks for more from him. Ahab disagres though. Then they go into battle and the Israelites win. When Ben-hadad relizes that they lost, he makes up dumb excuses. They come back for a second battle, and the Israelites are MAJORLY out numbered. Even though they are really out numbered, the Israelities "spank" them. The Israelites kill 100,000

    Ahab wants his neighbor's vinyard, his neighbor is Naboth. He goes home and pouts and cries and pitys himself. Then Jezebel comes to him and says that she will get it for him. Then she gets people to lie about Naboth, and he gets stoned. Ahab then gets the vineyard, but Elijah apears to him and says he will die and be eaten by the dogs. Ahab then repents and God says all this stuff will still happen, but not while Ahab is still alive.

    Jehoshaphat is going to battle against the Ammonites. The Lord said that Jehoshaphat would win the battle, so he decided to doing something a little out of the ordinary, because he knew he wouldn't lose. The army of Judah and a chior are going to the battle, but Jehoshaphat makes the chior lead them into the battle. The chior is singing praises to God, and the Ammonites start killing themselves! They all killed each other, and not one was left, and this is how Judah won without having to fight.

    A prophet of God is called to prophiesy to see if they will win a war. The prophet of God says that if Ahab goes to war, he wont come back alive. While at war, Ahab gets sniped with an arrow and dies.

    As they are walking from town to town, Elijah keeps telling Elisha to stay while Elijah goes other places, but every time Elisha goes with him. Then, at the Jordan, Elijah strikes the water with his robe and it splits. Then on the other side, Elijah asks Elisha what he wants before Elijah goes, and Elisha says he wants to do double what Elijah did. Elijah is taken away from earth in a chariot of fire, and the horses are on fire! Then Elisha splits the water on his way back to the city.

    Naaman is the comander of the Syrain army, and he has leprosy. The king of Syria sends him over to the king of Israel to be healed, but the king cannot. Elisha then hears of this and has Naaman come to him to be healed. Naaman then offers to give him gifts because he healed him, but Elisha says he doesnt need them, Naaman can keep them. Gehazi wants those gifts though, so he chases after Naaman, lies to him, and takes some stuff to his house. Elisha then tells Gehazi that he will have leporacy.

    The Shunammite woman comes back from the land of the Philistines. When they get back, other people had moved onto their land! The Shunammite woman goes to the king, and at the exact same time, Gehazi is talking to the king. The woman then talks to the king, and he says to tell the people on her land to get off and that it was hers.

    The Syrain army goes to attack Israel, but Israel jumps out and scares them. They do this twice, so the king of Syria thinks there is a spy in their army. They then send the army to go kill Elisha, because he has the power of the Lord with him, so he can hear and know what the king is saying to his army. Elisha then asks the Lord to open his servents eyes, and his servent sees the Heavenly army all around them.

    Ahaziah (Israel)

    Ahaziah became king of Israel after Ahab because he was his son, and reigned for 2 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. During a battle, he fell off a roof and hurt himself. He then sends messengers to go sacrifice to a unholy god, so God punishes Ahaziah by making him not recover from his sickness and injury, and he died. This is also the story of Elijah bringing fire from heaven, because God was with him, and the fire consumed the army a 50, 3 different times.

    He is king over Israel for 12 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, but does not worship Baal. Jehoram calls Jehoshaphat, Judah, and Edom to help him fight against Moab. They are in the desert and have no water. They go to Elisha and since the spirit of the Lord was in him, God sent water, tons of water, all over the land. And, he gave the people victory over Moab. The king's son is then burnt alive as sacrifice to a god

    Jehoram, son of Jehoshaphat, reigned over Judah for 8 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He is married to Atholiah, the daughter of Ahab.

    Ahaziah becomes king over Judah after Jehoram. He is the son of Jehoram. He reigns for one year, and did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

    Athaliah is the wife of Jehoram, son of Jesoshaphat. She is the daughter of Ahab and Jezebel. She went and killed all the house of Jehoshaphat so that Jesus could not come through them. And so, Jesus comes through the lineage of Ahab! She reigned 7 years.

    Jehu (Israel)

    A prophet goes to Jehu, the commander of the Israelite army, and tells him a prophecy. Jehu has good and bad things said about him. The prophet says that Jehu will become king of Israel and that he should kill all the house of Ahab.

    Joash's Reign (Judah)

    He becomes king of Judah at age 7. Jehoiada is a high priest, who is also Joash's adopted dad, and his uncle. As long as Jehoiada is there to help Joash, Joash does what was right in the sight of the Lord. But when Jehoiada dies, he moves away from the Lord and starts worshiping idols. Joash loses a battle against the Syrians, so the princes kill him.

    Jehu was a reckless driver. Jehu then shoots Ahaziah and Jehoram in the back during a battle, and they die. He then goes to the place where Jezebel is. And when he gets there, he has two servants throw Jezebel out the window, he then runs over her with a chariot, and she dies. He then goes on to make a temple to "Baal." He gets all the people who worship Baal to come, and once all the followers of God get out, he kills all the followers of Baal. I really like Jehu, he MIGHT be my favorite king!

    Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, reigned over Israel for 17 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and followed in the ways of Jeroboam. He then sought favor from the Lord, for the Lord was giving them into the hand of Syria countinually. But he still did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

    Amaziah (Judah)

    Amaziah, son of Joash, reigned over Judah for 29 years. The first thing he did being king was killing the people who assassinated his father. He started his reign at 25 years old. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord! But, he did not remove the high places. And the people still made offerings to false gods. And then he starts worshipping idols and starts loses battles.

    Jehoash, son of Jehoahaz, reigned over Israel for 16 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. And once he died, he was burried in Samaria, and Jeroboam reigned in his place.

    Jeroboam II reigned over Israel 41 years. His dad would be Johoash, the king of Israel. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and worshiped idols.

    Isaiah was a prophet from Judah. He was alive from the beginning of Uzziah's reign to the end of Manasseh's reign. He has a full book in the Old Testament. He is best known for prophesying the coming of Jesus to save us from our sins.

    Reigned after Amiziah. He was king over Judah. He reigned for 52 years and did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. His mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalam. He makes catuluts of the towers and makes awesome forts. Very smart guy, and does good overall to the land of Judah. He also defeated the Phlistines.

    His down fall is being prideful. He thought he was all great, and he was, but him being prideful lead to a punishment. The punishment for this was leporacy, like, RIGHT away!

His mother's name was Jerushah. He does what is right and follows God, but the people do not follow in the Lord's ways and continue to sin.

    Hoshea becomes king of Israel and reigns for 9 years. He was the son of Elah. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He became king by murdering Pekah. He became a servent to the king of Assyria who overtakes them, Shalmaneser. The Israelites then continued to sin and sacrificed their sons.

    He is the worst king Judah has ever had. He reigns for 55 years. He did every wrong thing. He worshiped baal, used witches, and was a really bad person. He led Judah to become WORSE than all the peoples they conquered! They are FINALLY conquered by the Assyrians, where they sell him to Babylon to become a slave. Then he becomes distressed being a slave and he prays to God! God is moved by his change of heart. He is then released and goes back to Judah to become king and is a good king!

    He is 8 years old when he begins to reign. He reigns for 31 years. He is a REALLY good king! He wants to follow God, and he does a really good job! He then goes undercover into a battle against the Egyptians and is shot in the back by archers and is then taken back to Jerusalem and dies.

    They are trying to rebuild the temple, and Hilkiah finds The Book of the Law! This has been "missing" for about 75 years, and its the first 5 books of the Old Testement. Hilkiah then takes it to Josiah and reads it to him. Josiah then rips his clothes. A little while later, he takes it to the house of the Lord and reads it to all the people there. He then holds a MASSIVE Passover, the largest ever recorded!

    Jehoiakim's real name was Eliakim, but it is then changed by the king of Egypt. The king of Egypt makes Jehoiakim, Jehoahaz's brother, king. He is another bad king. He is 25 when he starts reigning, and he reigns for 11 years. Taken prisoner by Babylon
